About

Pre disability days

Hi, I’m Chris. I don’t travel full-time, and I am not full-time travel blogger. I’m a tax accountant by trade, but I have been traveling for a number of years visiting 33 states and 19 different countries so far. I also have Myotonia Congenita, a rare type of Muscular Dystrophy.

A few years ago, I started having weakness in my legs and arms which has now progressed to having to use a wheelchair for most activities. While this has not stopped me from traveling, it has slowed me down and required alterations in my attempt to exploring the world.

Since I have performed tons of research on disabled travel and being a Disabled Traveler and Senior Citizens myself, my goal is to share my travel experiences with other Seniors, Wheelchair-Users and Slow Walkers. I hope you enjoy my website, and that I am able to pass on some of the information I have learned along the way being a Disabled Traveler.

Trip to Disney World

I have been interested in photography since high school when I bought my first 35mm camera.  I am self-taught in photography and have been taking pictures for the last 30 years.  Even though I have been taking pictures for the last 40 years, the last 15 years have been the most rewarding for me.  Over that time I have traveled extensively in the United States and abroad taking photographs.

I enjoy taking photojournalistic, and nature photographs.  My photos have been published in a few magazines in the United States.
